Extra-Curricular Activities
Our summer camp offers an exciting array of extra-curricular activities that are sure to engage and inspire campers. These activities are highlighted in blue on the calendar, are optional, and are not included in the regular summer tuition.
Fine Arts Lessons
Each week, campers will delve into a different aspect of the fine arts, gaining hands-on experience in small group settings.
- Week One: Music Instrument Lessons – Campers will explore various instruments, learning to play and appreciate music.
- Week Two: The Art of Dance – Dance lessons will help campers express themselves and learn new styles.
- Week Three: Culinary Arts – Campers will learn to make healthy foods, fostering a love for cooking.
- Week Four: Action Acting – Improv acting lessons will boost creativity and confidence.
Cost: $40.00 per session / $10.00 per week
Swimming Lessons
Campers will be assessed on their first day to ensure they receive instruction at the appropriate level. Classes are held twice a week in our pool.
- Requirements: Modest swimwear, goggles, and optional nose plugs.
- Cost: $120 monthly
C.S.I. Workshop
Aspiring detectives can learn techniques used to identify suspects and record clues, encouraging imagination and role-playing.
Cost: $10.00 per workshop
Electronics 101
An introduction to the world of electronics where campers will build circuits, motors, and learn simple wiring.
Cost: $5 per workshop
Science Creations
Campers will engage in science experiments covering life, earth, and environmental sciences, chemistry, and physics.
Cost: $10 per workshop
Culinary Adventures
Campers will prepare a variety of healthy snacks from different cuisines, with recipes sent home after each class.
Cost: $10 per class
Robotics Class
In collaboration with Youth Engaged In Science, campers will build robots and learn programming, culminating in a robotics competition.
Cost: $40.00 per session with a $22.00 supply fee
Petting Zoo
A local farmer will visit, giving campers the chance to feed and pet animals.
Cost: $10 weekly / $40 monthly
Camp Explores
Campers will embark on weekly hikes, exploring trails, waterfalls, streams, and lakes, while learning to build campsites and cook outdoors.
Cost: $10 weekly / $40 monthly
These activities provide a diverse and enriching experience, allowing campers to explore new interests and develop valuable skills in a supportive environment.
